the hiking continues

Well with a crazy schedule I've had to go hiking in the mornings instead of the evenings. This morning Ronda (the lady I usually I work with at night), headed to observation point. One nice thing about our resort is a lot of the hikes that are in Zion's have trailhead just a few miles from us. It makes it nice because we don't have to go into the park to start hiking. I filled my camelback and we headed off. I've noticed that my hiking turns into good therepy sessions/life lesson sessons. The hike was 7 miles and took us 4 hours and ended up looking over Zion's canyon. We were a lot higher than even angel's landing. It was the most amazing view I have ever seen of Zion's. It just makes me so grateful for the wonderful beauty and being able to live in this area.

Besides the hike we did this morning, the other day I went with Rebecca and did the watchman trail. That was also amazing! I need my friends and family to come visit me so I can take them on the hikes. My goal is to do all the hikes listed in the Zion map. Monday is Angel's Landing day! The following week is deer trap, and maybe cable mountain. Jill and I were going to go to the Grand Canyon in 2 weeks, but I was told there was still snow on the ground. We'll have to see about that trip.

Today my friends from school are coming and we're going to hang out. We'll probably do a small hike in Zion's and then tonight do the canyon overlook at dark. Tonight there is a rodeo, so that should be fun. Anyone who wants to come it will be every Saturday from here on out.

Hope everyone has fun planting gardens and such!

Love Stace

Whoa you've been busy. Sorry I've been so behind. If you are still looking for Grand Canyon recomendations, do the Idains garden and/or Bright Angel Trail and then you can hike into Phantom Ridge and stay there for the night and hike out the next day. I hear that one is amazing!!!I'm sorry if all of that is late!...Anyhoo busy you! I'm so proud of you and excited for you and your calling. --Why is your schedule so opposite everyone else's??? Are you in a different position than the rest? Anyhoo and I would just like to add my two cents, you desearve more than a candybar but I'm sure the victory was tasty non the less. WHAAOOOO Stacey Mae keep up the adventures I love your blog! Thanks for taking the time to share them. It's sooo rad!
