So not a whole lot going on, I just thought I'd check in with ya'll. Life is going so well, one thing I love about this place is how chill it is. I feel like I can just be myself and I don't have to worry about tomorrow or the next day or my future. I can just be here and enjoy every minute. I am making some wonderful friends. I'm just amazed that people from everywhere can come together and withtin weeks it's like you've known them forever....the thought of leaving them a the end of the summer is crazy. I love it!
Last night was so much fun. I love doing random and crazy things. Last night after the rodeo, Amy and I caught a ride back on one of the housekeeping carts. These carts are so much fun (they are basically golf carts). There is a spanish lady that works in housekeeping who uses the spanish word for the the carts, she calls them a carito. We've all gotten really well at speaking spanglish, so we all call them carito's. Anyways, Chris was driving and instead of dropping us off and parking the cart he decides we're going on a drive. Remember, we're in a golf cart with zero electric power. So we start on this up hill climb on a dirt road, at night, without headlights. We ended up following the main dirt road by us for about 1 hour...just putting along a golf cart with 4 passengers in the middle of nowhere. We drove to several nice view points and watched the sun set. There were a few scary moments when on-coming traffic would approach and they couldn't see us....we almost got hit a few times :) But it was so random and fun. We just talked, laughed, and enjoyed being crazy. As Chris would say, "we had a crazy-good time at the ZP."
Not much else, work is busy, but good. We have some great people coming. Such stories!
Have a great Sunday, I get to go to church today!
Love Stace
